J Design Speaker Enclosures is a small, Family Owned and Operated Speaker Cabinet Company Dedicated to Building High Quality, Great Sounding Guitar Speaker Cabinets that are Durable Enough to Take on the Road. We Build Each Cabinet by Hand Using the best Woodworking Techniques and high quality materials Available Such as Dovetail, Pocket Hole, Locking Miter and Rabbet Joinery. We use Premium 13-Ply 3/4" (18mm) Baltic Birch, Clear #1 Eastern Yellow Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Solid Poplar as well as many other varieties of Domestic and Exotic Hardwoods. We offer Dovetail and Rabbet joinery on our Handcrafted Exotic and Domestic Hardwood Enclosures. Speaker Baffles are built with premium 13-ply 3/4" Baltic Birch or 1/2" Baltic Birch unless specified otherwise.
